Yesterday we announced the 5 giveaway winners! Not only I’m excited about having the first prototypes fly around the globe to get tested, also about the development process to come. We are working on multiple upgrades on both the design and firmware and we aim to have the 5 prototypes built and shipped in two weeks.
I must admit that I was astonished by the amount of interest showed in the project. From the tweet of the announcement we had nearly 20k visits in the website, several interviews and even more impressive, 2500 people answered the first questionnaires!
The questionnaires are extremely useful to better understand our target audience so we can create a better final product. Thanks to everyone that took part on it. :)
Multiple interesting conclusions can be reached from the questionnaire answers. I would like to share the one that concerns me the most:
From the 2474 people that answer the questionnaires:
- 80% are between 16 and 24 years old
- 37% spend 9 or more hours per day on the PC
- 30% wrist and back pain on weekly basis! (hands 20%, wrist 31%, arms 11%, head 20%, neck 25%, back 30%, eyes 23%)
